A design inspired by authentic Viking artifacts. It depicts a goat holding the Hammer of Thor between its teeth. Thor’s chariot was pulled by the goats Tanngrisnir ("teeth-barer, snarler") and Tanngnjóstr ("teeth grinder"). "ASA THOR" is written with runes on the shaft, which translates to "Thor the Aesir".
It comes with a layer of 18K gold applied to the steel core through a process called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating. PVD plating is an advanced technique that uses a vacuum coating process to apply a thin layer of gold onto the surface of a base metal. This method produces a gold layer that is significantly more durable and longer-lasting than conventional gold plating. 18K PVD gold-plated jewelry costs a fraction compared to solid gold, making it accessible to a broader audience. It lets you enjoy the elegance of gold without the hefty price tag.
Mjölnir (English: Crusher), is the hammer of Thor, the Norse God of Thunder. An amulet depicting Mjölnir is known as a “Thor’s Hammer” and it was worn by the Vikings as an amulet of protection and power.
