Rune Set, Elder Futhark

Set of 24 handmade bone tiles, each carrying a carved rune from the Elder Futhark runic system. Use them for games, divination or decoration. The set comes with a leather pouch.

The Elder Futhark runes are the first set of runes. They were in use throughout Europe among the Germanic tribes from the 1st to the 8th Century AD, after which they were replaced by the Younger Futhark in Viking Age Scandinavia.
